Bill is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts and qualified to practice in all fifty states, as well as the District of Columbia.  He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree from Bentley College.

He spent 19 years in Boston, 24 years in Lynn, Massachusetts, 12 years in West Harwich, and in Dennis Port since 2025.  His daughter Noreen works with him full-time, while his daughter Maura Shield and wife, Mary Lou, help out during busy periods.
